Special Program:
Guided Tour of Super Computer "Fugaku"

Thanks to the generous support of the RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS), we are pleased to offer COMPSAFE2025 participants an opportunity to tour Supercomputer "Fugaku", one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world.
"Fugaku", developed jointly by RIKEN and Fujitsu, was ranked No. 1 in the world in several major supercomputing rankings from 2020 to 2021, including TOP500 and HPCG. It is currently used for cutting-edge research in fields such as disaster prevention, medicine, materials science, and AI.

Tour Schedule:

  • July 2 (Wednesday), from 15:30 (approx. 30 minutes)
  • July 3 (Thursday), from 15:30 (approx. 30 minutes)

Capacity:

Maximum of 70 participants per day

Registration:

Please visit the RIKEN R-CCS exhibition booth to sign up.

Registration deadline:

By noon on the day of each tour.

Note:

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meeting Location and Access:

The tour will take place at the RIKEN Center for Computational Science, located next to Keisan Kagaku Center Station on the Port Liner. From the conference venue (Shimin-Hiroba Station), take the Port Liner bound for Kobe Airport(two stations ahead).
Participants are kindly asked to go directly to the site.
